Baggage allowance
Excess fees — Ethiopian Airlines allows passengers to carry a free checked baggage allowance based on their route and travel class, while any luggage exceeding the permitted weight, size, or number of bags is charged as excess baggage. Economy Class passengers are generally allowed checked bags up to 23kg each, with overweight bags between 23kg and 32kg attracting additional fees, while larger or extra bags are charged per piece depending on destination.
