About ASKY
ASKY Airlines is a pan-African commercial airline headquartered in Lomé, Togo, operating out of its primary hub at Gnassingbé Eyadéma International Airport. Founded in 2008 and launching operations in 2010, ASKY was established with a mission to improve air connectivity across West and Central Africa — a region historically underserved by reliable intra-continental air service.
The airline was founded through a partnership between Ethiopian Airlines, which holds a significant equity stake and provides strategic and technical support, and the ECOWAS Investment and Development Bank (EBID), along with other regional investors. This backing gave ASKY a strong operational foundation from the outset, allowing it to adopt international safety standards and modern fleet practices.
ASKY operates scheduled passenger services to more than 20 destinations across West and Central Africa, linking major cities including Abidjan, Accra, Lagos, Dakar, Douala, Libreville, Bamako, Ouagadougou, and Cotonou, among others. Its hub-and-spoke model through Lomé positions the Togolese capital as a growing aviation gateway for the sub-region.
The airline's fleet consists of Boeing 737 Next Generation aircraft and regional turboprops, enabling it to serve both high-frequency trunk routes and thinner regional markets efficiently. ASKY is committed to delivering a safe, punctual, and comfortable travel experience to the growing population of African business and leisure travellers.
As intra-African travel demand continues to rise — driven by economic growth, business expansion, and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) — ASKY is well-positioned to play a central role in shaping the future of regional aviation on the continent.
