About Air Seychelles

Air Seychelles is the national carrier of the Republic of Seychelles, connecting the islands to the world with warmth, elegance, and island hospitality. Founded in 1978 and headquartered on Mahé, the airline serves as the lifeline of the Seychellois economy and tourism sector, linking the archipelago's 115 islands to key international destinations across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

From its home base at Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) on Mahé, Air Seychelles operates a focused network of international routes alongside an extensive domestic inter-island service, making it essential for both visitors and residents navigating the archipelago. The airline is renowned for its warm Creole hospitality, which infuses every touchpoint of the passenger journey — from check-in to in-flight service.

Etihad Airways holds a significant equity stake in Air Seychelles, a partnership that has helped modernise the fleet and expand international connectivity. The airline has been repeatedly recognised for the quality of its service and its contribution to Seychelles' status as one of the world's premier luxury travel destinations.

Whether whisking guests to the pristine beaches of Praslin and La Digue on a twin-prop inter-island hop, or carrying long-haul travellers in Business Class comfort to Johannesburg, Mumbai, or Abu Dhabi, Air Seychelles embodies the beauty, tranquillity, and soul of the Indian Ocean islands it calls home.
